Agroforst für Klimaanpassung und Energieholz am Schanzenhof

Description: <p></p><p><p>Auf dem Schanzenhof bei Alpen am Niederrhein wurden neben 2,5 Hektar Streuobstwiesen fünf dreireihige Pappelstreifen auf insgesamt 20 Hektar Ackerfläche etabliert – rund 3.200 Bäume. Die Pflanzung dient dem Schutz vor Winderosion und unterstützt die Verbesserung der Bodenfeuchtigkeit in zunehmend heißen und trockenen Sommern. Ausschlaggebend war die Wahl eines pflegeleichten, praxistauglichen Systems, das sich gut in den Betriebsalltag integrieren lässt.
