Description: <p></p><p><p>Die schnellwachsenden Pappeln wurden im Hühnerauslauf des Bio-Betriebs gepflanzt, damit der ganze Auslauf intensiver genutzt wird. Denn Hühner kommen ursprünglich aus dem Wald und mögen keine freien Flächen. Wichtig war auch der Schutz vor Greifvögeln. Die Pappeln sollen später alle 5-8 Jahre beerntet und ggf. als Energieholz genutzt werden.
