When chatbots talk about risks - artificial intelligence in risk communication in radiation protection : Final report Project 3624S72332

Description: AI is the future, including in public authorities’ communications with citizens. The use of AI-based chatbots helps streamline the press and public relations workflows of public authorities. At the same time, a chatbot meets the public’s need for information by making it available on demand. The research project investigated how a chatbot for risk and crisis communication should be designed in order to come across as accessible, trustworthy and reliable to users. A literature review and a quantitative online survey were carried out to answer the research questions.
