Kunstpfade

Description: Eine Besonderheit des Bucher Forstes und des Hobrechtswaldes sind die vielen Kunstwerke, die man entlang der Kunstpfade in der Landschaft entdecken kann. Das Ziel der Revierförsterei Buch ist es, den alten Hochwald und den neuen Hobrechtswald zu einem Natur- und Kulturraum der besonderen Art zu formen. Seit 2001 findet regelmäßig das internationale Bildhauersymposium „Steine ohne Grenzen” statt. Während des Symposiums kommen im Sommer Künstler aus aller Welt zusammen. Die Veranstalter wollen damit ein Zeichen für Völkerverständigung, Frieden und Menschlichkeit setzen. Hinter dem Symposiumsgedanken steht der Traum des Künstlers und Bildhauers Otto Freundlich, eine Skulpturenstraße von Paris bis Moskau zu schaffen. Die entstandenen Werke werden an besonderen Orten in der Waldlandschaft aufgestellt. Inzwischen sind so bereits mehrere Kunstpfade besonders um Berlin-Buch und Hobrechtsfelde entstanden. Besuchende können mittlerweile mehr als 100 Skulpturen aus Stein und Holz von zahlreichen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus mehr als 25 Ländern entdecken.

  Description: A special feature of the Buch Forest and the Hobrechtswald are the many sculptures that can be viewed along the art paths. The aim of the Buch District Forestry Commission is to transform the old timber forest and the newer area of the Hobrechtswald into a special natural and cultural region. An international sculpture symposium “Steine ohne Grenzen” has taken place regularly every summer since 2001, with participation from sculptors from all over the world. The event organizers want to set an example for intercultural understanding, peace and humanity. The idea behind the symposium is the dream of the artist and sculptor Otto Freundlich to create a line of sculptures stretching from Paris to Moscow. The artworks created in the symposium are positioned at special spots in the woodlands, which has given rise to a number of specially-created art paths around Berlin-Buch and Hobrechtsfelde.
