Description: Das Projekt "Thermal Bioclimate in different typical urban configurations - The case of Brasil and Germany" wird vom Umweltbundesamt gefördert und von Universität Freiburg, Meteorologisches Institut, Professur für Meteorologie und Klimatologie durchgeführt. Aim is the comparison not only of different urban structures and the development of adaptation strategies and the mitigation of the urban bioclimate in stressed areas but the creation of a climate orientate architecture and urban planning. It is planned after the project to submit a proposal for the improvement of urban bioclimate in tropical mega cities.
