'Young Cities' Developing Urban Energy Efficiency in Teheran-karaj region

Description: Das Projekt "'Young Cities' Developing Urban Energy Efficiency in Teheran-karaj region" wird vom Umweltbundesamt gefördert und von Universität Berlin, Institut für Meteorologie WE03, Fachrichtung Wechselwirkung im Klimasystem der Erde, Arbeitsgruppe Modellierung des Klimasystems durchgeführt. 'Young Cities - Developing Energy-Efficient Urban Fabric in the Tehran-Karaj Region' is a five-year German-Iranian research project under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research. It is directed by Prof. Dr. Rudolf Schäfer of Technische Universität Berlin and Dr. Tayebeh Parhizkar of the Building and Housing Research Center, Tehran. The Young Cities project investigates the possibilities of mitigating climate change through intelligent urban spatial structures, efficient urban infrastructure systems, sensitive architecture, and conducive socio-cultural environments.
