Description: Das Projekt "Beispielhafte Modellierung der NO2-, PM10- und PM2.5-Konzentrationen in 2030 an einer verkehrsnahen Messstation auf Basis der Szenarien des nationalen Luftreinhalteprogrammes" wird vom Umweltbundesamt gefördert und von Ingenieurbüro Lohmeyer GmbH & Co. KG durchgeführt. The project resolved the background concentrations simulated with EURAD for 2015 in (2x2) km2 horizontal resolution with measured concentrations at urban background stations and traffic-related measuring stations in five grid cells and compared them on an annual average. In addition, a comparison was made with the microscale modeling of the NO2, PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations for two measuring stations for 2015 (in grid cells that have already been analyzed). In a second step, microscale modeling for the year 2030 for the Zeppelinstrasse in Potsdam was carried out for the WM and WAM scenario of the German National Air Pollution Control Programme from May 22, 20191. The simulated background concentrations of the EURAD-CTM were used. In addition, the additional local emission reduction of the national measures was estimated. Finally, the deltas of the concentrations between the respective background data set and the other analyzed data sources for 2015 and the microscale modeling for the year 2030 were compared. The present report provides an assessment of whether there are correlations and how the pollution in 2030 at all traffic-related measuring stations can be estimated from the data set of the simulated background concentrations using a simple approach.
