Description: Das Projekt 'Welfare, Wealth and Work for Europe - WWWforEurope' http://www.foreurope.eu/ hat zum Ziel, im Zuge der Europe 2020 Strategy eine konzeptionelle Grundlage für sozial-ökologische Transformation in Europa zu erarbeiten. Das Projekt bringt Forscher aus 33 wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen in 12 europäischen Ländern mit interdisziplinärem Hintergrund aus Wirtschaft und Ökologie, Geschichte, Demographie, Politikwissenschaft und Gender-Forschung zusammen. Das Ecologic Institut leitet in dem Projekt ein Arbeitspaket zur Analyse vergangener und rezent stattfindender gesellschaftlicher Transformationen. In einem Fallbeispiel in Nordbayern soll untersucht werden, welche Rolle Energiegenossenschaften in der deutschen Energiewende spielen können und in wie weit ihre Organisationsform sich begünstigend auf Transformationsprozesse auswirken kann (unter anderem in Bezug auf Partizipation, Motivation der Beteiligten und als 'Change agents' im regionalen Kontext).
