Feasibility Study concerning Soil Moisture Retrieval and Flood Forecasting for the Mekong River

Description: The goal of the project is to investigate the feasibility of retrieving soil moisture from 25 km ERS/METOP scatterometer and 1 km ENVISAT ASAR data in the Mekong river catchment. Also, preliminary comparisons between soil moisture and river runoff shall be carried out.
