Concerted Action: Handel und Umwelt (CAT+E)

Description: Die Ausweitung der Kompetenzen der WTO auf Themenbereiche wie z.B. Patentrecht, Investitionen oder Dienstleistungen hat weit reichende Auswirkungen auf Umweltpolitik und Nachhaltige Entwicklung. Ziel dieses Projekts ist es, den Forschungsstand auf diesem Gebiet zu analysieren und auf europäischer Ebene anzugleichen. Neben der Erstellung von wissenschaftlichen Artikeln organisiert das CAT+E Netzwerk, welches aus Instituten aus fast allen EU Mitgliedsstaaten besteht, über einen Zeitraum von drei Jahren internationale Seminare und Konferenzen, die ein weites Publikum ansprechen. Ecologic ist einer der drei Projektkoordinatoren von CAT + E.
