Urban Water Supply and Sanitation, Burundi

Description: The main objective of the project is to improve the management of urban water supply and sanitation services in selected cities. Technical assistance supports the national operator and a municipal service provider through advisory services and training. GFAs services encompass an institutional analysis and the identification of organizational restructuring needs. Planning guidelines and IT-based planning support applications are developed. Also, financial and commercial management are improved and a management information system is introduced.
