Environmental Management Accounting for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in South-East Asia (EMA-SEA)

Description: Das Projekt "Environmental Management Accounting for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in South-East Asia (EMA-SEA)" wird/wurde gefördert durch: Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung / InWEnt gGmbH. Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Universität Lüneburg, Centre for Sustainability Management (CSM), Professur für Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement. The EMA-SEA project aims to develop case studies and methods as well as the diffusion and implementation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Southeast Asia. The practicability and potential of a number of tools and methods in environmental accounting were investigated in Indonesian, Philippian, Thai and Vietnamese companies. The case studies developed in this project provide the basis for practice-oriented training materials in environmental accounting for corporate managers as well as members of business associations, consulting firms, universities, ministries and government agencies. The long-term diffusion and implementation of environmental accounting in Southeast Asia is achieved through so-called disseminators, who in train-the-trainer seminars acquire the knowledge and skills to conduct their own environmental accounting workshops and company projects.
