North-Atlantic Regional Aerosol Characterisation Experiment (ACE-2): Continental Airmass Evolution in the Marine Boundary Layer - LAGRANGIAN

Description: Das Projekt "North-Atlantic Regional Aerosol Characterisation Experiment (ACE-2): Continental Airmass Evolution in the Marine Boundary Layer - LAGRANGIAN" wird/wurde gefördert durch: Kommission der Europäischen Gemeinschaften Brüssel. Es wird/wurde ausgeführt durch: Max-Planck-Institut für Chemie (Otto-Hahn-Institut).The major deliverable from this project will be a comprehensive data set describing the evolution of the aerosol in a continental air mass which is being adverted away from the European continent in the marine boundary layer in the sub-tropics. It will contain data from observations of both the evolution of the aerosol in the marine boundary layer and how the transition from the continental boundary layer to the marine boundary layer effects the vertical aerosol distribution. The final data set will form a significant part of the ACE-2 data archive.
