Das Landesamt für Umwelt Rheinland-Pfalz betreibt im Auftrag des Ministerium für Klimaschutz, Umwelt, Energie und Mobilität (MKUEM) seit 1978 das Zentrale Immissionsmessnetz - ZIMEN - für Rheinland-Pfalz. Das ZIMEN besteht aus Messstationen, die von einer Messnetzzentrale in Mainz aus telemetrisch betreut werden. Der WMS stellt die Lage der Messstationen dar. Lärmmessstationen

Der Dienst stellt die permanenten Lärmmessstationen dar, die vom Landesamt für Umwelt (LfU) betrieben werden. Sichtbar ab einem Maßstab 1:25.000 oder kleiner.
