DWD’s fully automatic MOSMIX product optimizes and interprets the forecast calculations of the NWP models ICON (DWD) and IFS (ECMWF), combines these and calculates statistically optimized weather forecasts in terms of point forecasts (PFCs). Thus, statistically corrected, updated forecasts for the next ten days are calculated for about 5400 locations around the world. Most forecasting locations are spread over Germany and Europe. MOSMIX forecasts (PFCs) include nearly all common meteorological parameters measured by weather stations. Nach Artikel 16 Absatz 1 der Verordnung (EG) Nr.746/96 vom 24, April 1996 zur Durchfuehrung der Verordnung (EWG) Nr. 2078/92 des Rates fuer umweltgerechte und den natuerlichen Lebensraum schuetzende landwirtschaftliche Produktionsverfahren sorgen die EG-Mitgliedsstaaten fuer die Begleitung und Bewertung der Umweltschutzmassnahmen in der Landwirtschaft. Im Falle Deutschlands faellt dies in die Zustaendigkeit der Bundeslaender und das Land Hessen hat das IfLS mit der Untersuchung beauftragt. In der Untersuchung werden die hessischen Umweltschutzmassnahmen in der Landwirtschaft (das Hessische Kulturlandschaftsprogramm, HEKUL und das Hessische Landschaftspflegeprogramm, HELP) entsprechend ihren Zielen bewertet. Die Ziele betreffen soziooekonomische, landwirtschaftliche und umweltpolitische Aspekte, wobei aber bei der Bewertung ein besonderes Augenmerk auf die Evaluierung der Umweltwirkungen gelegt werden soll.
