Das Projekt "Water balance of four types of vegetation (bare soil, grass, bush, tree) with special consideration of dew, fog and rime" wird vom Umweltbundesamt gefördert und von Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Institut für Agrar- und Ernährungswissenschaften, Professur Allgemeiner Pflanzenbau, Ökologischer Landbau durchgeführt. Dew, fog and rime are also important parts of the water balance. Studying these elements is meaningful for the hydrological situation of soil and agricultural disease monitoring and so on. Studying the water balance of four types of vegetation (bare soil, grass, bush, and tree) with special consideration of dew, fog and rime is concerned with gaining new meteorological, hydrological, pedological and botanical knowledge. Our research is composed of microenvironment monitoring, precipitation and its circulation, water balance in the soil, diurnal biological activity of the vegetation and analyzing the difference of accumulated precipitation in four types of vegetation.
