CO2 degassing from karstic springs in Southern Germany

This study examines characteristics of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) and partial pressures of CO2 characteristics (pCO2) in the source springs and headwaters of four karstic watersheds, via dissolved inorganic carbon concentration and stable carbon isotope measurements. All four spring sources are located in Southern Germany and were measured for water chemistry and stable isotopes with nearby headwater stream points, which were located up to 100 m downstream of the discharge points. Seasonal sampling covered winter, spring, summer, and autumn in 2018.

Model Output Statistics for Springe (E764)

DWD’s fully automatic MOSMIX product optimizes and interprets the forecast calculations of the NWP models ICON (DWD) and IFS (ECMWF), combines these and calculates statistically optimized weather forecasts in terms of point forecasts (PFCs). Thus, statistically corrected, updated forecasts for the next ten days are calculated for about 5400 locations around the world. Most forecasting locations are spread over Germany and Europe. MOSMIX forecasts (PFCs) include nearly all common meteorological parameters measured by weather stations. Physical oceanography during Alkor cruise AL608

This data set comprises unprocessed CTD data collected during the RV ALKOR cruise AL608 conducted in March 2024 in the Western Baltic Sea by the University of Hamburg. The cruise was part of the 5-year MARSYS teaching cruise program of the University of Hamburg GFP20-1_047. The cruises are designed to train students in sampling methods targeting the different compartments of a marine ecosystem. The CTD data was obtained directly from the Sea & Sun Technology software. No quality control of the data has been done.
