Waterbase - UWWTD: Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive – reported data

The Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive concerns the collection, treatment and discharge of urban waste water and the treatment and discharge of waste water from certain industrial sectors. The objective of the Directive is to protect the environment from the adverse effects of the above mentioned waste water discharges. This series contains time series of spatial and tabular data covering Agglomerations, Discharge Points, and Treatment Plants.

WISE Water Framework Directive Database

The WISE Water Framework Directive database contains data from the River Basin Management Plans reported by EU Members States, Iceland, Norway and the United Kingdom according to article 13 of the Water Framework Directive (WFD). The database includes information about surface water bodies (number and size, water body category, ecological status or potential, chemical status, significant pressures and impacts, and exemptions) and about groundwater bodies (number and size, quantitative status, chemical status, significant pressures and impacts, and exemptions). The information is presented by country, river basin district (RBD) and river basin district sub-unit (where applicable).

Noise data reported under Environmental Noise Directive (END)

The datasets includes 1) the noise exposure data, 2) the noise contours data, 3) razterized noise contours data and 4) potential quiet areas all under the terms of the Environmental Noise Directive (END). Data covers the EEA32 member countries and the United Kingdom (excluding Turkey for the third round of noise mapping in 2017).

INSPIRE: Hydrogeological Map of Germany 1:250,000 (HÜK250)

The HÜK250 (INSPIRE) describes the hydrogeological characteristics of the upper continuous aquifers in Germany at a scale of 1:250,000. According to the Data Specification on Geology (D2.8.II.4_v3.0) the content of the map is stored in a INSPIRE-compliant GML file: HUEK250.gml. The GML file together with a Readme.txt file is provided in ZIP format. The Readme.txt file (German/English) contains detailed information on the GML file content. Data transformation was proceeded by using the INSPIRE Solution Pack for FME according to the INSPIRE requirements.

Member States' greenhouse gas (GHG) emission projections

The Governance of the Energy Union and Climate Action ((EU) 2018/1999) requires Member States to report national projections of anthropogenic GHG emissions. Every two years, each EU Member State shall report GHG projections in a ‘with existing measures’ scenario for the years 2020, 2025, 2030, 2035, 2040, 2045 and 2050 by gas (or group of gases) and by sector. National projections shall take into consideration any policies and measures adopted at Union level. The reported data are quality checked by the EEA and its European Topic Centre for Climate Change Mitigation and Energy (ETC/CME).

WISE WFD Reference Spatial Datasets reported under Water Framework Directive

The WISE WFD reference spatial datasets contain information on the European river basin districts, the river basin district sub-units, the surface water bodies and the groundwater bodies delineated for the River Basin Management Plans (RBMP) under the Water Framework Directive (WFD) as well as the monitoring sites located in surface water bodies and groundwater bodies. The dataset includes EU Member States, Norway and Iceland.

Development of the cement clinker production under the EU ETS

This report summarizes the main trends and drivers of the cement sector in the time period 2005-2017 in the EU28 and provides a compilation of key figures on the cement clinker industry for selected countries. The report focuses on the developments during the third trading period of the EU ETS since 2013 and analyses the countries within the EU28 with the highest contribution to total emissions of cement clinker production: Germany, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Poland and Greece.By providing key information from past developments, this report sets a solid basis for future projections and the design of climate policy.

basemap.de P10 Raster

Die Präsentationsausgabe basemap.de P10 Raster (P10) ist ein von Bund und Ländern gemeinsam entwickeltes topografisches Kartenwerk und liegt seit Januar 2024 als neues AdV-Standardprodukt vor. Die technische Grundlage bildet der automatisierte Workflow zur Herstellung von Karten der basemap.de Produktfamilie. Die basemap.de P10 ist eine druckoptimierte und maßstabsbezogene Kartenausgabe im Maßstab 1:10.000. Sie präsentiert amtliche Geobasisdaten in einer modernen kartographischen Ausgabe. Grundlage für die Herstellung bilden die amtlichen Geobasisdaten ATKIS Basis-DLM, Hausumringe und Digitale Geländemodelle der Länder. Für die Beschriftung wurden zusätzlich weitere freie Datenquellen genutzt, wie z.B. Zensusdaten.
